XLPE insulated power cable has a number of advantages than paper insulted and PVC insulated cables. XLPE cable has high electric strength, mechanical strength, high-ageing resistance, environment stress resisting anti-chemical corrosion, and it is simple construction, using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature. It can be laid with no drop restriction.

XLPE cable advantages:

XLPE cable have higher long-term working temperature and greater current rating, and under the condition of the same environment, XLPE cable may be reduced size (normal cross section) 1 or 2 class in comparison with paper and PVC cable. These are not only improving the quality and properties of products, but also reduce cables' production cost.

Guowang xlpe cables standard:

Our XLPE cables can be manufactured according to company's specification which is equivalent to IEC60502, IEC60332, IEC60754, Some of indexes are superior to above international standard IEC.

Armoured Cable is divided into steel armor, fine steel wire armoured, steel wire armoring.

Steel armored cable models: VV22, VVP22, ZRVV22, NH-VV2;

Control cable with steel tape armoured cable: KVV22, KVVP2, KVVP22 model, ZR-KVV22

Steel wire armoured power cable: VV32, YJV32, ZR-VV32 model

Steel wire armored control cable type: KVV32 KVVP32

Sheathed communication cable type: HYA53, HYAT53, HYA23, HYV22, HYA22 (buried)

Steel wire armoured cable (swa armoured cable) can bear general longitudinal tensile, so it is suitable for short distance overhead or vertical installation. In foreign countries, steel wire armored cable is common used.

This 0.6/1KV CU/XLPE/SWA/PVC Armoured Cable can be installed in air, duct, conduit or direct burial. It is recommended that the installation instructions indicated by the Local Electric Code, or any equivalent, so that the safeguarding of persons and the integrity of the product will not be affected by deciencies in the installation.

1. What is the difference between XLPE cable and PVC cable?

PVC – Poly Vinyl chloride ; XLPE – Cross linked Poly Ethylene

PVC :  thermo plastic ;  XLPE: thermosetting plastic.

PVC can withstand temperatures up to 70°C ; XLPE can do 90°C.

PVC costs lower with large market, XLPE costs higher with smaller market.

2. Can I get a sample to check your quality?

Of course. Sample is free, but you need to cover the freight charges.

3. How long can I get the sample?

Samples will be ready for delivery in 3-5 days, and it will arrive within 7 days. We can help you get the procedure going if you do not have an account.

4. What about the lead time for mass production?

Honestly, it depends on the order quantity and the season you place the order. The best record we kept is

delivering 10 kilometers cable within a week. Generally, we suggest inquiry two months earlier before your project.
